3. Nature of the services

Statisthic is a private study and research institute. It carries out surveys, statistical analyses, audits and sector studies for organisations. Services are sold by tailored written quote only, following a direct discussion; no payment is requested or collected through this site. The applicable conditions are set out in our terms of sale.

  • Statisthic is not a law firm and provides no legal opinion or legal advice within the meaning of the Act respecting the Barreau du Québec (CQLR, c. B-1). Analyses published or delivered to a client are research work, not legal consultations.
  • Statisthic carries on no investigation activity within the meaning of the Private Security Act (CQLR, c. S-3.5): the research work does not concern the identification, the location or the conduct of a specific person on behalf of a third party.
  • Research results describe trends and perceptions at the level of populations or organisations; they do not constitute individualised professional advice and must not be used as the sole basis for a decision.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, images, graphics, logo, icons, data sets and compilations) is the exclusive property of L'Entité Nexus inc. or of its licensors, unless otherwise indicated. Any reproduction, representation or adaptation, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, is prohibited without prior written authorisation. The name “Statisthic” and the associated logo are trademarks of the company. A short quotation accompanied by a citation of the source and a link remains permitted.

The site may link to third-party sites, including those of the other brands of the L'Entité Nexus group. We exercise no control over their content and disclaim all liability in that respect. Creating a link to statisthic.org does not require prior authorisation, provided that it does not mislead anyone as to the origin of the content.

In accordance with the Charter of the French Language, the content of this site is published in French. An English version is offered for convenience, available under /en/ and through the language selector in the header; it gives access to all the content offered in French. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails.

11. Governing law

This legal notice is governed by the law of Quebec and of Canada. Any dispute relating to the use of the site falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.

12. Amendments

L'Entité Nexus inc. reserves the right to amend this legal notice at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication.
