1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing the statisthic.org website, published by L'Entité Nexus inc. under the Statisthic brand, you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please do not use this site. They may be amended at any time; your continued use constitutes acceptance of the version in force.
2. Purpose of the site
This site presents the Institute's research activities. Its purpose is informational. It does not allow you to order a service or to pay online: all services are sold under a tailored written quote, on the conditions set out in our terms of sale.
3. No contractual relationship arises from use of the site alone
Consulting the site, sending a message through the contact form or registering for the Panel creates no contractual service relationship. An engagement arises only from the written acceptance of a quote.
4. The content does not constitute professional advice
The texts, analyses and results published on this site are research work. They constitute neither legal advice, nor financial advice, nor an individualised recommendation, and must not serve as the sole basis for a decision. Statisthic is not a law firm.
5. Prohibited uses
You undertake not to: use the site for unlawful purposes; attempt to access the administration area or any protected zone without authorisation; extract the content on a mass scale by automated means; disrupt the operation of the site; or impersonate a third party in the forms.
6. Statisthic Panel
Registration with the Panel is free, voluntary, open only to persons 18 years of age and over, and may be cancelled at any time without justification. Taking part in a survey creates no obligation. You undertake to answer in good faith; multiple registrations or manifestly inconsistent answers may lead to removal from the Panel. The processing of your information is described in our privacy policy.
7. Information you send us
The contact form is intended for general enquiries. Do not send any legal document, sensitive information or confidential data through it. For any confidential communication, write directly to info-statisthic@proton.me (Proton Mail, end-to-end encryption).
8. Intellectual property
All of the site's content is protected by copyright and remains the property of L'Entité Nexus inc. or its licensors. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or republication without prior written authorisation is prohibited. A short quotation citing the source with a link remains permitted. Any reuse of a research result must state the collection period, the sample size and, where applicable, the margin of error.
9. Accuracy of the information
The Institute endeavours to keep the content accurate and current, without guaranteeing that it is free of errors, complete or up to date. Published work reflects the state of the data on its date of publication.
10. External links
The site may link to third-party sites, including those of the other brands of the L'Entité Nexus group. We assume no responsibility for their content or their practices.
11. Availability
The site is provided “as is”. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or for a technical reason beyond our control, without giving rise to any right to compensation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, L'Entité Nexus inc. cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from access to the site, its use or its unavailability.
13. Confidentiality and protection of personal information
Use of the site is also governed by our privacy policy, which complies with Quebec's Law 25.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers. If a provision is held invalid, the others remain in force.
