Publications

Our public studies, in open access. Each one states its method, its collection period, its sample size and, where the study design allows, its margin of error.

Our first studies are in preparation

Statisthic is launching its public research programme. No study has been published yet: we would rather show an empty page than approximate findings. Work in progress will appear here as soon as it has passed our methodological controls.

In the meantime, the work we carry out for clients remains their property and is not published.

Our research programme

Four areas structure our public work. Every study we publish will come with its full methodology.

Justice and access to the law

Trust in the courts, perceived accessibility and fairness, the path of unrepresented individuals, perceived delays and costs.

Police services and public safety

Police-community relations, sense of safety, intervention priorities expressed by the public and by police forces.

Social policy and intervention

Emerging needs, programme evaluation, the reality of the community sector and of front-line organisations.

Public opinion and societal issues

Measuring the perceptions and attitudes of the Quebec public on legal, social and institutional debates.

What each study will contain

Our publication rules are set in advance and are not negotiable.

The full methodology, appended to the report
The sample size and how the sample was constituted
The exact collection period
The margin of error, where it can be calculated
The full questionnaire
The name of the sponsor, if there is one
